Hyde Midtown Miami is celebrating the Magic City’s artistic soul with a brand-new contemporary art exhibition inspired by Miami’s vibrant landscapes, unique multicultural identity, and transformative spirit. Titled Miami Dreams, the multidisciplinary exhibit will debut in the hotel’s David Rockwell-designed lobby lounge on December 1, 2023 during Miami Art Week, an annual city-wide event where world-class art and design take center stage.

Curated in partnership with Manolis Projects Gallery, one of South Florida’s largest fine arts galleries, Miami Dreams showcases fascinating artworks by internationally-renowned artists, including pastel-hued abstract paintings by J. Steven Manolis and Chuck Fischer, a bold geometric letterscape by American artist Ron Burkhardt, textured murals by South Florida-based street artist Timi Ogundipe, and a vibrant fauna-filled painting by colorist Hunt Slonem.

Join Us For The Grand Opening

The grand opening event welcomes hotel guests, locals and visiting art-lovers for a first look at Miami Dreams with complimentary open bar and light bites, and entertainment. The celebratory soiree will also feature a meet-and-greet with exhibiting artists and a raffle prize. This event is free and open to the public with RSVP to [email protected].

Stay tuned as we kick off the New Year with a series of creative workshops and local community events inspired by Miami Dreams exhibition themes, including the city’s profound Latin influence and its evolution from sleepy coastal town to world-renowned cultural destination. Event schedules and reservations will be available online in January.

7 Days a Week, 9AM to 6PM

The exhibit will be on view in the hotel lobby lounge seven days a week, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. starting December 1, 2023. Open to the public, hotel guests and residents of Hyde Midtown. No reservations are required for viewing. Private exhibition tours are available upon request.
